Playing Around With Ideas for Posters and Magazine Front Covers

Here is a photograph of mine in which I have edited to look like a zombie's mouth. I did this on the online picture editing programme PicMonkey.
I changed the colour of the teeth so they were dark yellow so they looked rotted, and make the mouth dark red and slightly covered in blood. I then made the skin green and crackled so it looked like rotting flesh.

The idea behind the bloody mouth came from Dawn of the Dead (2004) by George A Romero.
I feel the bloody mouth is quite an effective look to represent a horror film because it's quite an obvious image for the audience to understand.

Here is another edit I have done of a photograph I took of my dog's teeth. I asked my helper to hold up her jowls so I could get a photo of her looking scary. I then again used PicMonkey to edit into this look. I used a darkening eye tool to remove the fingers that you can see in the original image.

The idea behind for this photo was to make her look like a werewolf/hell hound. I edited blood around her jowls and teeth so she would look ferocious. I have also elongated her canines so she looked otherworldly and larger than dog size.
The idea behind this was the dog which is in Cabin Fever (2016) by Eli Roth. The snarled face and blood came from this aggressive scary dog.
