Horror Magazine Analysis

Above is my analysis of four horror magazines; Paracinema, Scream, Rue Morgue and Fangoria.
I did this analysis within Photoshop and they're posted as JPEG's.
I decided I needed to explore more magazines because I was struggling with how I wanted my magazine to look. I found these all quite interesting magazines, but particularly the ones with a more yellow/red colourscheme. I personally preferred the magazines with no secondary images because they didn't look overcrowded and messy.
The colour scheme I deemed to be the best for a magazine front cover, was the conventional red, yellow and black cover which is shown on the front of Fangoria. It drew me in a lot more than the other magazines because of the typical bloody look it had to it. I feel this would suit my magazine a lot more than an unconventional type cover.
